| hello xanga strangers. i'm still here. just not as much. you should try me on facebook (janet stone wade). i'm on there almost every day posting random gems. ... i need to find a rhythm to life again. so far it's been: wake up, go to work, suffer through work, come home, cook, help baby boy succumb to the sleep monster, then sleep. my weekends are my sanctuary, if you can call it that. i try to catch up on sleep then. might go out to some place fun like target (wooHOO FAIL). but that's it. i haven't even blogged about random crap in forEVER. haven't really drawn or doodled anything. haven't posted my CREATIVE THURSDAYS in, well, you get the point. i feel numb. i feel like i'm a shadow just going through the motions. an automaton that waits for the weekends.
don't get me wrong. i love being a mommie. esp. since i'm mom to the most awesomest little curly haired boy in the world. but i feel like i've lost a bit of myself in this new mommie role. i want to be the supermom that can cook a great dinner, put baby boy to bed w/out a fight & still effortlessly pop out the coolest artz known to mankind. and i wanna do it all in killer heels & perfectly shiny hair...hmmm that might be a bit of a stretch. i think what would make me feel like i'm myself again is if i can get back to the art stuff again. if i can @ least have that...

Here's the deal...Kim, the young leader of the Toshigawa ninja clan, is on a secret recon mission in the heart of new Tokyo. His back-up is a young group of ninja excited to begin their first mission. However, can the inexperienced group of warriors make it back from this mission alive when they encounter the demon army of the Knave?
For those of you who don’t know, this is a free web story that will be running at TOSHIGAWA.COM. Each Friday, we will post a new page of this exciting story. Each story is illustrated and written by guest artist and ties in with the main Jetta: Tales of the Toshigawa graphic novel series.

"Jetta splash poster" ~~saltygirl i've been gone for a while. from xanga. from art. having a baby will do that to you, ya know. you are suddenly not the center of your own life. a lot of things that you did on a regular basis, you can't do anymore because you either don't have time/$/energy to do them. but slowly you gain a bit of your old life back. we're taking the boy w/ us to supes celebration this weekend in metropolis, il. his 1st comic book event. i did this to sell @ the celebration. feels good to be back in the game.

For those of you who don't know, this is a free web story that is currently running on main site. Each Friday, we post a new page in this exciting UFC styled story depicting our 2 main characters, Jetta and Turra. Jetta is our main character and chosen one of the Toshigawa Ninja. She is the most powerful warrior in the clan. She has defeated everyone in her sparring path. There is only one person standing in her way. Her sword sister, Turra, is also undefeated and has left her fellow ninja knocked out on the mat. These two meet in martial arts action to determine the supreme champion of the sparring arena.
